A Look Back, A Leap Forward: Reuniting Two Mad Anthonys Traditions in 2026

At the heart of the Mad Anthonys Foundation are two signature events that have shaped not just our mission—but our community: The Red Coat Gala and the Pro-Am Golf Tournament.

Each tradition carries its own legacy, bringing people together to celebrate leadership, service, and the powerful impact of giving back.

For many years, these events lived side by side.

The Red Coat Gala set the stage with emotional storytelling and community honors, spotlighting individuals like Peyton Manning, Matt Painter, Neil Armstrong, and Jim Harbaugh.

The night would crescendo with the much-anticipated golf pairings reveal—setting the tone for the next morning’s Pro-Am (formerly known as the Charity Classic): a full day of camaraderie, sport, and sunshine.

A few years ago, we made the decision to separate the events—giving each space to grow on its own. And grow they did. From elegant nights at The Clyde Theater to exciting rounds at courses across Fort Wayne, we’ve cherished the journey.

But sometimes, tradition calls you home.

So, we’re thrilled to share:

We’re bringing back the magic of a full weekend celebration:

  • Announcing pairings live from the stage
  • Swinging into Monday with purpose and heart
