August 31, 2022, Fort Wayne, IN — The Mad Anthonys Foundation has announced Savaná Griffing as its new executive director, effective Sept. 1. Griffing replaces Kathy Eikenberry, who is stepping down after several years of service to Mad Anthonys.
Griffing brings nearly 10 years of experience in operations, administration, leadership and education to the role. Most recently, she served as director of operations for Fort Wayne-based Apex Golf Lab, where she oversaw the development of several new processes and initiatives that helped increase member registrations and revenue.
“We could not be more thrilled to welcome Savaná to the role of executive director,” said Sherri Miller, Mad Anthonys board chair. “Her enthusiasm, experience and acute understanding of Mad Anthonys and its mission makes her the ideal person to help lead the organization through an important and exciting phase in the organization’s history.”
“It’s an incredible honor to step into this role for an amazing organization,” Griffing added. “Through its signature annual events, Mad Anthonys has made a tremendous positive impact on so many throughout northeast Indiana over the past 65-plus years. I’m so excited to get to work and ensure this organization continues to make northeast Indiana a better place for many years to come.”
